Deirdre is currently technical co-ordinator of the eGovernment Domain Unit. Her main activities are:

• Co-ordinator of the EC CIP ICT-PSP project ‘Puzzled by Policy: Helping you be part of the EU’.
• Member of the EC CIP ICT-PSP project ‘Rural Inclusion: relieving the administrative burden of rural SMEs through innovative and semantic eGov services, training tools and methods’.
• Member of the EC eParticipation Preparatory Action project ‘WAVE: Welcoming Argument Visualisation to Europe’.
• Her main research interests include eParticipation, Open Government, collaboration systems, and semantic and social technologies.
