MarcOnt Mediation Services
The MarcOnt Mediation Services allow to translate bibliographic description between several bibliographic models (Dublin Core, BibTeX, MARC 21, MarcOnt Ontology).
The translation is performed in two steps. The first step is to convert the source description to the MarcOnt Ontology. Then the description is converted to the desired format. The architecture is highly estensible and can easily facilitate more formats.
Moon Service
This is a hypothetical service of non existing Moon company, simulating an endpoint of a legacy system. The main feature of Moon System is ability to receive purchase orders from Moon's customers.
This service has been prepared for the SWS Challenge which is organized by DERI in Stanford in March 2006. Further information on the Semantic Web Service Challenge can be found sws-challenge.org.
