"Hello my name is Brendan Smith and I am the Education and Community Outreach Officer. My role is basically to explain to ordinary people what DERI is all about and how new web technologies can dramatically improve the lives of schools, communities and society generally.

The work that I undertake is divided into two main categories:

• Community Outreach which is aimed at the general public and the community/voluntary sector. Read what the Irish Times recently said about one of our Community Outreach programmes here!
